Dear Glen – I can’t seem to get your sermons to work, in particular my interest is for your Mark 6:1-29 version as I have to speak on this topic soon. Could you email me a directly linky or something?
Ta – Steve
Hey Steve,
Having probs with the website. The audio link should work though:
Right click – save as:
http://www.christthetruth.org.uk/Mark6.1-29.mp3
Let me know if that works,
Glen
I am interested in your audios but does not work.
Do you have an ebook of all of your writings in pdf format
or in word documents?
thank you very much.

:)
Hi Anne,
Sounds like I’ve got some broken links. Could you tell me which sermons you clicked on that didn’t work – I’ll try to fix that.
Most of my semons are on this page. Other articles can be found on my website:
http://www.christthetruth.org.uk
Good idea about an ebook. I need to collect together my posts as you say. When I do, I’ll post it on the blog.
Thanks for dropping by.
Hi Glen –
I figured out why your Wilderness Church series has been unavailable now as for long as it’s been posted – and I think now some people will finally be able to listen to it. I know I look forward to hearing it. I have always loved how the wilderness exile in the Pentateuch has paralleled the church and our own walk with God. It’s the Pilgrim’s Progress for real.
Here’s the deal – The first mp3 file you have named ‘http://www.christthetruth.org.uk/Wilderness1.mp3′, and it can be downloaded. The problem begins with the next 4 mp3 files, as you have named the link by the bible passage rather than Wilderness02,03,04, and 05. However the actual download of the mp3 file is named by Wilderness 02,03,04, and 05. This download can be achieved by anyone manually by keeping the first wilderness sermon open, and changing the last number to 02, 03, 04, and 05, and clicking the go button. (or enter or however your browser advances to a new address). Then once you get to the 6th sermon, it reverts to being downloadable by the bible passage (Numbers 27)rather than the wilderness06 name. It’s the only one that works that way.
It seems much harder to explain this than it actually is. It’s very simple, the file was not named consistently, and thats why only the first and final sermons have been available all this time. You just need to name all the mp3 links the same at the end of the address, sticking with all wilderness01,02,03,04,05,06 or else name them all by the bible passage, and you especially need to make sure the link name is the same as the actual file name.
Don’t feel bad about it, I encounter this all the time in the building of my huge audio collection from across the web. It’s quite a common error. I have learned to try changing the address of the download to be the same as whichever of them actually worked, (if any worked), and once I find one that works, I can usually figure out the proper file address for the ones that won’t download after changing the file name around to different ways. I have a 1 terabyte sized collection (which I have shared with The Gospel Coalition, which anyone can access – here is the web link – http://thegospelcoalition.org/resources/author-index), so I have had plenty of practice at this sort of thing.
Hope this is understandable, as I am no computer technician, and I don’t use proper terminology, so I’ve probably come off pretty confusing.
God’s Blessings to you, your ministry and your family,
James

For Mark 6.01, In the address bar after you get the ‘page not found’, change this – keep the whole address the same, but change the last three letters from .htm to .mp3, hit enter, and you will get the audio. You just won’t get the text.
If you fiddle around with these things long enough you will conquer them eventually. Just pray and use a little ingenuity, like anything in life, you gotta want it bad enough, and I do.
I could tell when I discovered Glen’s material and sites earlier this year that he’s a good one. Definitely gifted with insight and passion. I look forward to assimilating his audio into my great collection of living water streams for the futhering of the Kingdom of Lord Jesus Christ :)
It is so cool to see God raising up a new crop of good young teachers in this increasingly horrifying world.
Also, I typed a long reply already that must have gotten lost in cyberspace, but for the Wilderness Church series, the first one is titled properly and can be downloaded, but the next 4 have different audio file names than the link name.
If you see the address for the first one, it is http://www.christthetruth.org.uk/Wilderness1.mp3, but the next four audio file names are by scripture passage (http://www.christthetruth.org.uk/Exodus12) rather than by title, and obviously the link names are not matching it.
So if you change in your address bar the number at the end of the first file (Wilderness1 to Wilderness2), and hit go or enter, it will download the next 4 files if you do that for each of them. The last one is named by passage, but the link name must be the same as the file name because it works without changing anything.
I know that sounds wayyy more confusing than it is. It is really very simple. I am not a computer professional, so I’m probably not using correct terminology. I hope you can understand what I am trying to say.

Hi Glen, Seems to be a broken link on 1 Cor. 1:18-25 and 2:6-16 too. Really appreciate all your work on this cataloguing.
Thanks for letting me know Andy. Hope it’s fixed now.
Great. Thanks Glen. And text is there too!
